We have received over 100 resumes of May graduates who are still seeking - and we plan to help those students. However, we have only received about 20 people willing to participate in this opportunity. The lesson here is do not wait til the end to start planning your career.

We have a GREAT, career-changing opportunity to visit some high profile companies in the Charlotte area on Friday, April 17.

We will be taking a bus of students (40 capacity) to visit three area employers - Red Ventures, Wells Fargo, and Vanguard. Many of you have participated in similar events in the past and have come away with internships, externships, interviews and jobs. 

Here is the schedule:

6:45 am - Leave Blacksburg

10 am - Arrive at Red Ventures

10:15 am - 11:45 am - Visit with Red Ventures

11:45 am - 12:30 pm - Travel to Wells Fargo

12:30 - 2:15 pm - Visit with Wells Fargo

2:15 - 3 pm - Travel to Vanguard

3 - 5 pm - Visit with Vanguard

5 - 8:30 pm - Return to Blacksburg

If you sign up you will be expected to attend. Your name will be shared with employers. Failure to show up with negatively impact your future employability, so take this commitment seriously.
