Personnel Changes for Pamplin Career Services
As you enjoy spring break, take note of two job fairs - Monday in Richmond and Tuesday in Falls Church  - for all Hokies. It can be a great opportunity for you as I anticipate the crowds will be much smaller than Business Horizons. Also, if you are an accounting student, read the next section for a special and unique opportunity.

Also, we are doing some spring cleaning with Pamplin Career Services to enhance our services to students and employers.

First, we are promoting Emily Africa to become the Associate Director of Recruiting. She will be responsible for bringing in more talented students to Pamplin. The bad news is that she will no longer be performing career services functions. But the good news is that she will be in a position to sell Pamplin and our offerings to all new incoming Pamplin students. She's a great ambassador for us. Congrats!

Second, with the departure of Renee Cloyd, who did an incredible job with programs such as LEAP and PUMP, we have made Kelly Queijo the interim director of Student Success Programs. Kelly has a tremendous background in higher education and we are excited to have her on board. If you interacted with Renee in any way, please say hello to Kelly as she is in Renee's old office.

Third, we will be hiring an associate director of career services to assist in carrying out our wide array of programs, events and activities. The goal is to have this person hired by the end of the semester. You will see more of this person next fall.

Fourth, Sarah Messer will be providing her same excellent customer service and behind-the scenes support, which is so crucial to Pamplin and Career Services.

Finally, Stuart Mease will move to a leadership role supporting all the areas mentioned above. He is especially interested in your thoughts and ideas. Please send him an email - smease@vt.edu.

Enjoy your spring break!
