They will discuss resume writing and have professionals review the students resumes. They will also talk about how to appropriately network, how to navigate a career fair, how to enter and exit a conversation, how to develop and perfect an elevator pitch, how to hone interviewing skills, how to write a follow up e-mail, etc.
The event will be held in Pamplin 1028 on Thursday, March 5 from 6pm-9pm and dinner will be provided.

I wanted to let you know that we still have Intern opportunities for this summer. We have one or two additional spots for property based internships in both Richmond (full service Marriott) and at our Oceanfront Comfort Suites in Virginia Beach. Additionally, I have decided to also hire a summer intern at the corporate office. This position will work directly with me on acquisitions analysis and corporate office special projects for the duration of the summer.
I would really appreciate your help in getting the word out to students that we are definitely still interested in interviewing candidates for internships. Additionally, we will circulate a list of permanent placement opportunities in April/May as we get closer to graduation.
Of note, we generally give strong consideration to HMA and Delta Sigma Pi members, so I'd appreciate your forwarding to their leadership for distribution to the members.
