If you want to take the next step in the process with the companies you talked to at the fair, it's crucial that you be proactive and follow up. This may mean coming to an info session, apply online at Hokies-4-Hire, sending a thank you note or email, etc. You must follow up to validate these relationships you established last week.

Results from Class of 2014 Post-Graduate Survey

Each year we survey graduating seniors asking them to tell us if they have a job, with whom, how much they are making and where it is located. We compile this information into a neat 1-pager that you have seen many times. This year 66% of graduates completed the survey.
The good news is that the placement rate for those students seeking increased to 89% and the median starting salary is $51,000.
About 75% of our graduates will begin their careers between the Baltimore to Charlotte corridor. About 42% of students start in the DC metro area.
About one-third of graduates receive a median signing bonus of $5,000. About 45% of BIT grads received a bonus.
The top employers of Pamplin grads since 2010 are: Deloitte, Accenture, EY, KPMG, PWC, Capital One, IBM, Marriott, Freddie Mac, Cvent, Virginia Tech, Hilton Worldwide, GE and Vanguard.
