Associate Direct Marketing Specialist

This exciting opportunity assists in the implementation of marketing plans, provides analysis of potential market opportunities and assists with marketing campaigns for customer acquisition and renewal.  For marketing campaigns, defines customer selection criteria, writes promotional copy or provide input on creative promotions, makes recommendations on pricing and terms and conditions, coordinates the design, printing and mailing of promotional materials including Requests for Proposals (RFP).  Writes training materials for internal personnel.  Assists with all sales channels including direct mail, bill inserts, digital, mass media, trade show support, aggregator, broker, etc. as well as third party vendor relationships and internal communications.  Assists with actual expenditure management and ensures campaigns are within budget and time constraints.

Job qualifications for this position include: knowledge of marketing databases and use of data files; good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write promotional copy; analytical skills; experience in communications/advertising production; project management skills; good computer skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and in groups; ability to manage multiple projects with task, budget and deadline orientation.  Past marketing internship experience is a plus.
