How to Build Your Career Profile- Sept 3 (5pm)

Do you have a resume? Have you created your Hokies-4-Hire profile? Are you on LinkedIn? These are three critical things you must have prior to the start of the recruiting season. Altria and Target recruiters will be present offering their advice and opinion. Food will be provided. The session will be held in Pamplin 1045 from 5-6pm and is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Psi. Al majors and all years are invited.

Business Horizons - September 18

The 32nd consecutive Business Horizons Career Fair will be held on Thursday, September 18 from 10-4pm in Squires Students Center. Over 150 firms and 500 company reps will be present to speak to over 2,000 students.
This is the Super Bowl event of college recruiting. You will not be able to re-create these opportunities on your own. Here is a sneak peak and a promo video we share with employers:

Please prepare now for this event.
1. Download the Business Horizons mobile app in your app store and begin researching companies attending.
2. On September 9 at 5 pm in Pamplin 1045 we will be hosting a workshop on How to Prepare for a Job Fair.
3. Over 50 companies will be interviewing on September 19.

Company Days in the Pamplin Atrium

Companies setup their booth in the lobby of the b-school and pass out information, swag, and food to students interested in their company. This is a great opportunity to establish a relationship with an employer and to learn more about their company and industry. Firms will be there from 10-2pm

For Accounting students, 23 public accounting firms will be in the Pamplin Atrium on Thursday, September 4 from 5-8pm. This event is ESSENTIAL for accounting students and is being held in conjunction to the accounting department's mandatory orientation sessions for its students. Free food and swag will be provided.
