Speak in Classes and Student Groups
Each year we provide a 1-page document of Pamplin faculty who want employers to visit their classrooms. Here is the Fall 2014 list. I am pleased to say that we have many more professors and classes that are on board.

Additionally, here is the Fall 2014 list of student group leaders and faculty advisors. Contact these groups directly if you would like to speak to their groups.
Pamplin Diversity Recruiter Sponsorships
Last year under the direction of Emily Africa, we began the implementation of the Pamplin Diversity Recruitment StrategyWe created this strategy to increase the enrollment of underrepresented students by engaging employers in the process.

The results have been encouraging.

  • We awarded 10 $20,000 scholarships to incoming freshmen.
  • We increased the critical mass of underrepresented ethnic and Asian students from 24.2% to 30.26%.
  • The number of African-American students nearly doubled.

Please help support this initiative - like these firms have - and continue the momentum. There are only a few spots remaining for the upcoming year.

Altria, GE, EY, PWC, Dixon Hughes, Target, Deloitte, KPMG, Pepsi, Keiter, Grant Thornton, NVR, Enterprise and Sherwin Williams.

For additional questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out to Emily Africa directly: eafrica@vt.edu or 540-231-3379.
