December 5 Career Event in Pamplin Atrium

So here are the specifics on Thursday's event. That's December 5 from 10-2pm in the Pamplin Atrium. Tables will be setup with the following stations:
- Job/career search assistance from Smith Career Center
- Computers for SENIORS to take the BusinessWeek Survey
- Computers for ANY Pamplin student to take the Universum survey.
- Multiple employers (EY, Apex Systems, Vanguard, FedBid, and possibly two more) who still have full-time and internship spots.
- Free Food

| Local Summer Internships - December 3 |
We still have a couple of spots open for this unique opportunity!
On Tuesday, December 3 from 730am - 9 am at Tecton Products (about 30 minute drive from Blacksburg @ 5415 Corporate Cir, Salem, VA 24153), I have been asked by the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council to present on the topic of summer internships. Attendees at this meeting will be local companies who want a sales and marketing intern for the summer. I am inviting students who are interested in a local summer internship to accompany me to this meeting and talk to interested local employers. Yes it is an early meeting, but it will be worth the effort. Please email me at smease@vt.edu to participate. Students will be required to dress in professional attire and provide their own transportation.
