Greetings!

ralston

What's spinning in the wind?  Pinwheels for the Ralston House!

It's that time of the year when many of us support the Ralston House by buying some Pinwheels. If you've stopped by our main store recently, you've seen our Pinwheel garden outside our front door.  The Village Roaster has been a long-time supporter of the Ralston House. They continue to do great work in our community - work that has a powerful impact on many lives.

tumblers Making Life Easier

Introducing two new items that are flying off our shelves!

The first is a straw cleaner. Do you have a favorite tumbler with a straw that you want to really clean but just haven't been able to?  The straw cleaner takes care of this task very easily!  Pictured here with our colorful spring tumblers.

The second is the mini-silicone lids by Color Factory.  Do you find yourself running out the door with coffee mug in hand, only to spill some?  Or perhaps you want to save that perfectly mixed beverage for later. These lids fit on your existing mugs and glasses...stop in the store today to see for yourself how good these work!

Spring Cleaning
spring

When you're doing your spring cleaning this year, remember to clean your coffee maker! Regardless of the kind of coffee you're using, you want the best cup you can get from whatever beans and brewing method you're using. If you're not diligent in maintaining and cleaning your gear - whether it's a Keurig, a French press or a humble pourover cone - your tastebuds aren't all that will suffer. Your coffee won't deliver all the taste and all the health benefits that it could if you don't keep it clean.  Our recommendation: use the
Kaf-Tan coffeepot cleaner for best results.

ragtime

Lakewood Cultural Center presents Ragtime
Co-presented with Performance Now Theatre Company.  Running March 25th - April 9th.
Tony Award winner for Best Score, Book and Orchestrations, Ragtime paints a sweeping musical portrait of early 20th century America. At the dawn of a new era, everything is changing and anything is possible. Set in the melting pot of New York City, Ragtime weaves together the tale of three families struggling to pursue the American dream. The score, as diverse as the stories themselves, moves from the rhythms of Harlem to the klezmer of the Lower East Side, incorporating bold brass band marches and delicate waltzes in-between. A timeless and powerful portrait of America, Ragtime has been inspiring audiences all over the world for more than 25 years.

In addition to this play, the Symphony and many other events are happening at the Lakewood Cultural Center in April - click here for event calendar.
