 In addition to Mother's Day, in May we are celebrating Nurses' Week by supplying complimentary coffee for nurses at St. Anthony's Hospital. We also celebrate and appreciate teachers at several local schools with our mobile coffee cart.

This month the Lakewood Cultural Center is hosting a wide variety of programs: from dance companies to orchestras to ukulele performances to high flying acrobats, there is a show for every artistic taste!

Congratulations to the Action Center (formerly Jeffco Action Center) on their newly renovated Program Services Building, which opened its doors to the community in April of 2015. The new building includes a Self-Select Grocery which allows clients to select their food alongside a volunteer shopper. The clothing and household areas have more efficient racking and display of items. The second floor is dedicated to case management staff and programs. *All donations in our dropbox (on top of our coffee bean display) are donated to The Action Center.
We have pinwheels available through May for the
Ralston House... only $5.00 each to support a wonderful cause.
