What does your coffee reveal about your personality?
coffee

Remember this one from last month's newsletter?

By an overwhelming majority, VR coffee drinkers are self-described SNOBS!  And we are privileged to serve great coffees to all of you with discerning taste buds!  According to this chart, you "snobs" enjoy Espresso and coffee made with a French Press, among other things.

Click here for another fun article on how your coffee reveals your personality!  Thanks to everyone who replied, we had fun reading your comments.

Fall Cleaning

We will be featuring a series of brewing tips on our Facebook page,

cleancaf

Roaster Tip:  Drip filter coffee makers need to be cleaned monthly to remove hard water deposits (scale), leftover coffee oils that become rancid, and other impurities. When washing the pot just isn't going to cut it, we suggest Cleancaf.

Also, it's time to clean your coffeemaker (or way past time) if the brewing time is taking noticeably longer and if your coffee has an "off taste". Vinegar is a good home solution. Whether you use Cleancaf or vinegar, run half the solution through, turn off the coffeemaker and allow to set for 10 minutes. Allow the remainder of the solution to process through and then run fresh water through a couple more times to flush out the residue prior to brewing coffee. We promise:  you WILL notice a difference!
