Our first Chapter Meeting of 2014 is on the horizon and fast approaching. In the spirit of the new year, our speaker, Carol Zizzo will explain the factors that make a the difference between adequate groups and great group collaborations. This is a great topic to jump start ideas you've had for company cohesiveness and unity of purpose for the coming new year.

Have you noticed that collaborative efforts are often dreaded or fall short of the anticipated result? And yet most professionals can recall at least one extraordinary collaborative experience. What made it great? Why isn't it the norm?

Warren Bennis, considered the pioneer of contemporary organization development said, "There are groups and there are Great Groups." Great Groups come together and collaborate to accomplish the extraordinary. At its best, collaboration invites leaders at all levels to imagine bigger, act bolder, and create positive cultural changes within their organizations.

The HLG Power of Collaboration Model focuses on five key elements that serve as a cornerstone for leaders to step up their level of leadership, a solid guideline for managing a group project or launching a large-scale organizational change. Our 20+ years of experience in organizations has shown us that when leaders or groups focus on these five key elements, increased performance and great results are achieved.

This interactive session introduces the Power of Collaboration Model. Each participant will be provided with a "Collaboration Grade Book" and an opportunity to assess their own team or organization. You will leave with suggestions for quick, easy and practical ways to start implementing the next day.
