Coaches Michael Chapman and Armand Debruge are having some fun and mixing things up tomorrow, May 17.

INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH'S Tony Gracia will host Coach Michael for BJJ 4 (Samurai Class) at 9:30 a.m. and Coach Armand for BJJ 1 & 2 at 11:15 a.m.

Special appearances scheduled by Pineapple Smash. All Impact members are welcome to join in!

Impact Jiu Jitsu Wins Adult and Team Overall Belts at the FIVE Grappling Oregon 1 Open Championship
 
Oregon's Jiu Jitsu scene had a special treat on May 10 with a visit from FIVE Grappling. Many of the local teams were joined by others traveling in from Seattle and beyond. I'm so very proud of Impact Jiu Jitsu and all our girls, boys, women and men who stepped up to battle and test themselves. You all made us better through your efforts and earned these belts. After a long day of competition, Impact Jiu Jitsu was awarded first place in the overall Adult and Team divisions; our youth division took fourth overall!

I'd like to thank Dayan Henson, Paul Paterson, and Riccardo Ammendolia for bringing FIVE to Oregon. Also, a big thanks to our subleague.com staff and referees who joined in helping FIVE Grappling run smooth and on time.

I am so proud to be part of the Northwest's BJJ community with competitors and coaches who consistently display such strong sportsmanship and camaraderie. Even when the other coaches and I were cheering on our own competitors, we were still proud of our opponents' successes. This is what NW Jiu Jitsu is all about!
