Trainer or Training, what's your style?

Getting a new pair of trainers at the beginning of the year is like getting a new pencil case for the start of school.

It's so nice to be able to give your tootsies a break, so we are pleased that the trainer trend isn't going anywhere.

What could be better than a shoe trend that is so comfortable you could jog all the way to work in it?

However, finding a pair that fits into your wardrobe can be surprisingly tricky. Follow our tips to keep you on your toes... 
Converse
Choose from a 'high top', 'slip on' or 'low rise'. Ladies can also choose 'the wedge" Designers are all in on it too.

For ladies, Givenchy has a fabulous silk-twill floral 'high top', Jimmy Choo does a hot pink glittery 'slip on' and Hogan's version is a sparkling lace up.


Both guys and girls can also find lots of 'cool kicks' with Converse, Nike and Adidas leading the way. Want more style? Get your Michael Kors, Vince and Nikes at Lane Crawford.

Stan Smith 
The newer brands are Eytys (pronounced 80s) and Opening Ceremony whilst Keds are still kicking. The Stan Smith and Chuck Norris are there forever.

It is pretty much acceptable to wear trainers pretty much anywhere and at any age out of office hours, so there's no excuse for not getting involved. You can even wear them to work if you keep a pair of "proper" shoes in your desk.
