Who doesn't have a favourite denim? It might be your jeans, a denim jacket or a chambray shirt.
Reassuring, durable, comfortable, sexy, stretchy, stylish, irresistibly indigo and iconic; we love our denim.
Whether you want to go back to 'double-denim' look (wearing it on the top and on the bottom) or wear one of the denim trends, you will be happy to find denim is everywhere in everything from jumpsuits to shorts.
Jeans were originally created as men's workwear until Levi Strauss made some useful changes and put his name to the updated version. In the 1950's, Hollywood film stars Marlon Brando and James Dean brought denim mainstream and Marilyn Monroe made it look hot.
The great thing about jeans right now is that pretty much any style goes, as long as they look good on you. So get ready to roll up your cuffs and fray your edges. Our body shape, personality and age all contribute to which styles we wear so here are some basic rules to help you find your best jeans.

 BOOT CUT
A modern classic that is a figure-fixer for most body shapes but works best on triangles and full hourglass body shapes.
The slimming and leg-lengthening effect of boot cut jeans is enhanced when they're worn with a heel - opt for a wedge, chunky heel or pointy trainer.
SKINNY
Look amazing on their own for lean body types and perfect with a longer top if you have a curvy bottom half.
Wear with ballet flats or ankle boots for an edgy look. Skinny jeans look great with a skinny belt and a half tucked in top. If worn with longer tops, make sure your top falls either above or below your widest point.
 BOYFRIEND / WIDE LEG
A more mannish shape that is the newest and trendiest shape to wear right now. Suits a lean, rectangle or inverted triangle body shape.
Play up the boyish vibes with a pair of platform slip-ons, trainers and a simple top, or offset with feminine details such as an off shoulder top and heels.
Remember to consider the weight of your denim. Thicker, heavy denim holds its shape and is very durable, making it ideal for straight body shapes. If you have a curvier body shape opt for softer, more fluid styles that will move with you rather than constrict your fabulous figure!
