The Gentlemen of Bluegrass Announce New Album on Pinecastle Records
Carolina Memories available in June
 
The Gentlemen of Bluegrass, a collaborative project of master musicians Danny Stanley, JC Rowland, Tom Langdon, Greg Penny and Randy Smith have announced a scheduled release of their latest project, Carolina Memories, on Pinecastle Records, June 10, 2014.   

"We are thrilled to have Carolina Memories hit #4 on Airplay Direct, the first week of release,"  said Producer, Lorraine Jordan.  "Danny Stanley, J.C. Rowland and Tom Langdon personify vocal harmony and when you couple that with the addition of Randy Smith, a superb banjo player and Greg Penny, an acoustic bass player with great timing and tone; this band has what it takes to be on a national level. I am excited for bluegrass fans to have an opportunity to experience old style bluegrass in a fresh, new way."
 

THE GENTS SUPPORT SOTM 

The Gents are proud to be an official SOTM Band and Supporter of the Song of the Mountains Festival, May 1-3, 2014 held in Louisburg, NC.     

 

Song of the Mountains shown on PBS currently airs over 180 public television outlets across the USA showcasing the best talents in bluegrass and old-time music from the heart of the region where it all began!

This wonderful series is dedicated to preserving our musical mountain heritage to facilitating a  public platform for the talented bluegrass artists and loyal fans who support it.  Funding for this amazing series comes only from generous donations and sponsors. 

Song of the Mountains now needs our help with funding 24 episodes for their next season. Many of these national bands have stepped up and discounted their fee to bring their show to Louisburg, NC in May.
