Groove Volunteers
Special thanks to all the parents and grand-parents who have offered to volunteer for Groove 2013.
And and extra special thanks to those parents who volunteered multiple nights and to those who are looking after classes that they don't even have their own children in!
Thanks to your help we are not only able to keep ticket prices low, but we can ensure that all of our students are well taken care of and have the best recital experience possible.
Please find attached our Volunteer Schedule. If you signed up please make sure to note the days that you scheduled for. Unless I have spoken to you seperately, please arrive by 6:15 on Performance and Dress Rehearsal nights, and 5:30 for the Monday April 29th Run Through.

Groove Notes & Reminders
Pizza, Class Picture and DVD's Pizza, Class Pictures and DVD's all need to be pre-ordered and pre-paid, so please ensure that if you want to any of these things that you sign up in time.
Bangs If you are planning on wearing your bangs down for your performance (and the costume notes stipulate that's okay), this is the time to get them trimmed! Any bangs that are not neatly trimmed at eye-brow level (for these classes), need to be slicked back and bobby-pinned.
Buns For those of you that need change your hair and do a "bun" part-way through the show and need help, we will have a "Bun Station" in the Dressing Room where you can get some assistance. Please bring your own brush, bobby-pins, hair net and hair spray/gel. If your first performance is with a bun, please do it before you arrive at the Theatre.
Hair, Costume and Make-Up Notes Please make sure that you have read the Hair, Costume and Make-Up Notes (attached) for all your classes and are clear about how to wear you costume. Costumes should be clean, ironed and all the pieces should be kept together. Please contact Kelly at mccreakelly@yahoo.ca if you have any questions. Hair, Make-Up and Costume Notes
Young Children We recommend that young children do not stay until the end of every performance night in order to ensure that they get a good rest.
Mandatory Rehearsals Please note that it is mandatory for all performers to attend all 3 of their rehearsals (Tech Rehearsal, Run Through and Dress Rehearsal). Please refer to the Groove 2013 Handbook to see when you need to attend.
Dress Rehearsal The Dress Rehearsal is a "closed" rehearsal. It is not open to friends and family as the cast sits in the audience during the performance and there is not enough space. Please purchase tickets for Performance Nights.

We have also just opened the balcony for Thursday night as there were only 10 seats left so if you still have to get tickets there is a new lot that has opened for Thursday night. The other two nights have very limited seating so if you need tickets for those get them fast!!
