The following is an expanded Rehearsal Schedule for our show:
Groove 2013 Full Schedule
The show is in order with the end of the first half (Act 1) being the Dad's Dance and the beginning of the second half (Act 2) being The Boys Dance.
All classes are scheduled for 3 rehearsals: a Tech Rehearsal, a Run Through and the Dress Rehearsal. Please take note of all 3 times for each of your classes as they are mandatory for participation in Groove 2012.
Every year once the schedule is released we get a number of emails asking to change the schedule and release people from stage rehearsals due to various conflicts. While we do our best throughout the year to accommodate these things, the time at the theatre is inflexible which is why we do our best to release the schedule early and have all the important dates set when you register for class the previous spring. We REALLY appreciate everyone's willingness to clear their calendars for this amazing and fun time at the Sid!
Class attendance is very important at this point of the year. If students miss 4 or more classes, they may not be able to participate in Groove 2013, at the discretion of Lindsay. This is to ensure safety for all the students participating.
Next month we will be giving out our Groove 2013 Handbook to students (1 book per family). It includes a lot of important information including: dates and rehearsal schedules, make-up guidelines and an overview as to what happens at the rehearsals.

Pantuso Dance with Pantuso Auxiliary presents "Masterclass" March 17 at the Sid Williams Theatre
This year, we will be hosting a day of "Masterclass" at the Sid Williams Theatre on Sunday March 17, 2013. This exciting new event is happening in place of participation in the North Island Festival this year in order to try something new and exciting more fitting with the studio's mandate of non competition. Audiences will get the chance to watch the dances, see them be adjudicated just like in Festival, and then perform immediately again to see if students can adjust to feedback and apply it directly to their performances but there will be no placements or marks of any kind....just the learning! This is being cosponsored by the Parent Auxiliary Society as well with many thanks!!!
Classes have been contacted that are participating and we can't wait to share our learning with the families of Pantuso Dance!

Spring Fling March 16
The Pantuso Auxiliary is proud to announce that they will be holding our second annual Spring Fling fundraiser on Saturday, March 16th at the Navigate NIDES space. This fun family event will include dessert, entertainment by our students and very special guests the Heather Burns Trio and a Silent Auction. It is open to all ages and is sure to be a great time for everyone. Classes that are participating will be contacted shortly with more information!
