Work Pays: Are You Missing Out?
Creating Opportunity for Families
a two-generation approach

The Council on Children and Families in partnership with the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance developed an information poster directed toward low income families to help them know about benefits that may increase their minimum wages. The Work Pays poster highlights tax credits and support programs for working families that may be experiencing trouble with every day expenses like child care, rent, and food.

Click WORK PAYS for the full image that can be printed to 11x17 paper.  We encourage you to print out the poster and share it with others in your community.

This poster was inspired by the Creating Opportunities for Families report from the national KIDS COUNT program at the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

Fixing New York's Leaky Pipeline
A college graduate will make $1 million MORE
than a high school graduate in their lifetime. Out of every 100 ninth graders in New York, only 23 graduate college.

What can we do about New York's Leaky Pipeline?

The Council on Children and Families and our partner's at NYS Department of Labor developed the Fixing New York's Leaky Pipeline poster to showcase ways to help plug the leaks.
