On behalf of the board and staff of David Stockwell Evangelistic Association (DSEA,) my wife, Amy, and I wish to express our deep appreciation and gratefulness for the generous support and prayer of our friends, family, and ministry partners who have contributed to the ministry during the calendar year of 2013.  God has provided miraculously, and has allowed us to reach many thousands of people with the Good News of Jesus Christ in many countries, and to teach and train others to do the work of evangelism.  

 

2013 Ministry Results

 

Through six international mission campaigns in 2013, in Zimbabwe, Guatemala, Zambia, South Africa, Brazil, and The Philippines, and through ministry here at home in the US, 104,378 people heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed in their communities by our American teams.  59,203 of those people prayed the Sinner's Prayer with one of our team members, and indicated their desire to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. 

 

According to reports received so far, through the ongoing ministry of our NEST (National Evangelist Support Team)partners in Kenya, Malawi, Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, 1,207,172 people have heard the Gospel preached in their communities, with 546,085 people having prayed to receive Jesus Christ as Lord with one of our team members.  Some of our NEST Teams are also expanding their evangelistic ministries by preaching in neighboring countries as well as in their own.  Praise God for these incredible results!

 

In summary, during 2013, through the combined efforts of our American and national teams, DSEA was privileged to be able to:

  • Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and provide on-going discipleship through ministry in schools, universities, churches, rallies, tent-meetings, open-air crusades, prisons, orphanages, marketplaces, neighborhood meetings, conferences, Bible studies, tribal evangelism, camps, disaster relief efforts, feeding programs, medical missions, film showings, community outreach programs, women's ministry programs, home church cell groups, and government offices in ten countries to 1,311,550 people. 
  • Pray the Sinner's Prayer with 605,288 people who publicly indicated their desire to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Distribute 24,237 Bibles, 40,909 New Testaments, 215,752 salvation tracts, and 75 Champ CampTM Bible Studies, written by David Stockwell with Steven Stockwell.
  • Help plant 18 churches, and numerous Bible study and church cell groups.
  • Train 9,764 pastors, evangelists and Christian workers through our Leadership Development & Evangelism Training Conferences, field training on mission, and NEST Team leaders' training ministries.
  • Equip our NEST Teams, 48 men in eight countries, with monthly financial support, portable sound systems, microphones, cords, batteries, battery chargers, hard copy and audio Bibles, tracts, discipleship materials, worship CDs and music, Champ CampTM  Bible Studies, cameras, computers and wireless accessories, tote bags, suitcases and trunks, clothing, food, shoes, household and personal items. 
  • Maintain and use for ministry travel two vehicles in two countries.
  • Provide monthly financial support and special gifts for six other evangelistic ministries, and those who support and care for widows and orphans in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
  • Lift up and proclaim the Name of Jesus Christ to people from all walks of life!
Many of our friends and supporters have asked us to keep them apprised of on-going and specific needs for our ministry.  Below, please find a "short list" of ministry needs for your consideration; please join us in prayer as we look to Jehovah-Jireh, The Lord Our Provider, to provide everything we need to continue to minister the Gospel in His Name.  Thank you for praying with us, too, as we prepare for our upcoming missions in 2014!

We are so grateful to God for the open doors He has provided for us, as we minister in His Name.  We thank Him for the open hearts of those who have responded to the Gospel, and for His continued miraculous provision.  Thank you for praying for us as we GO and TELL the wonderful Good News of Jesus Christ.
