God has done so many great things for us! We have seen His glory manifested powerfully in our missions this year. Thank you so much for praying for us and for giving, so that we can go. My son, Steven, and I were able to reach over 40,000 people with the Good News of Christ in Zimbabwe. On our mission in Guatemala, what a joy to watch people sing and weep as Amy sang with the anointing of the Holy Spirit in Spanish! Over 5,000 men and women publicly called upon Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior there as we told the simple message of the Gospel.
In Zambia, Steven has already reached more than 10,000 people with a clear presentation of the Gospel on our DSEA project, May 8-June 2. He is on the ground right now, working with our NEST (National Evangelist Support Team) Zambia partners, and will continue to share the Good News of Christ in many schools throughout Lusaka and the Copperbelt area. Steven is also connecting with local Gideons, and working to help distribute thousands of New Testaments in schools all across the region! Thank you for praying for him and the precious souls who will be reached with God's plan of salvation through Christ alone.
Next month, Amy and I are honored to sing and preach at the Evangelists' Conference of the Southern Baptist Convention, Sunday, June 9, 9:00am-11:30am, at the Hilton Americas in downtown Houston. Please come and worship with us that day! Mark your calendars; we are going to have a great time in the Lord!

A Word From Amy Stockwell
2013 is marching on! This year has gone by so quickly already; we are excited about the wonderful things God is doing, and the great opportunities He is allowing us to experience in ministry this year.
Our mission in Guatemala was wonderful; what a joy to connect with some new friends in ministry, and to have the joy of singing to several thousand Guatemalans, in Spanish! David preached with fire as always, and God moved in marvelous ways. Pray with us for more open doors in that country for the future!
David and I are preparing for the Southern Baptist Convention in Houston June 7-12, and the joy of hosting our evangelist friends and their wives in our home on June 7. On June 8, the evangelists' retreat will continue at our home church, Second Baptist Houston, with our pastor, Dr. Ed Young, leading a special session; following that, the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists is hosting a special worship service on Sunday, June 9, at the Hilton Americas (which David mentioned above!) June 9-10, we'll be attending the Pastors' Conference of the SBC, and other meetings and similar events through June 12.
We are trusting Jesus to order our steps and looking to Him for power and anointing to minister the Gospel! Thank you for praying with us for His will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven!
