Location: Child and Family Services Center

CLE Credits: 1.0 General Hour

The expertise required to speak competently about mental health issues is drastically changing with increased awareness of issues that people can face.  A concrete example of that is the most recent publication of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-V), which encompasses changes over 20 years.  This CLE is designed to educate you on the major changes impacting attorneys so that, for instance, you don't walk into a courtroom and talk about "Asperger's disorder", which no longer exists.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Now Recruiting 2014-15 Committee Members

One way you can get involved with your Bar, develop relationships with your colleagues and advance into a leadership position is to join MCB committees.  Each June, the new Bar president appoints a new class of members to each committee - most for a three-year term.
