VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The MCB recently launched a direct case placement pro bono program and volunteer attorneys are needed. We are working in conjunction with Legal Aid of NC and Legal Services of Southern Piedmont to assist those clients they are unable to serve. Cases will be assigned on a rotation basis depending upon the area(s) of law for which you register. The time commitment could be as little as one to two cases a year. Areas for which attorneys are needed immediately are family law, landlord/tenant, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
