Today is the final day to register for the USA Baseball NTIS showcase event, visit http://MidwestNTIS.com.

 

"Showcase" events are an important part of getting opportunities to play college baseball.  A player needs to be comfortable and be able to perform to his potential in these situations, with evaluators watching every move.

 

The USA Baseball NTIS sub-regional event provides a low cost alternative for the skills section of a typical showcase.  Each year about 200 players from the Missouri go through this process.  The top players are then selected to represent Missouri on the 5-state NTIS Regional held in St. Louis in August.  Players from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri travel to St. Louis to participate in this event.  At the high school levels, it is one of the most heavily recruited events in the region.  

 

The top players from this Regional event are then selected to represent the Midwest at the USA training complex in Cary NC at the NTIS National Event.  This is one of the top youth baseball events in the country, and is one of the most recruited events in the country at the high school ages.

 

The Gamers program has run the Midwest region for USA Baseball for the past 5 years.
