Gamers Players & Parents,

The Gamers program has a positive and growing relationship with the St. Louis Cardinals.   Cardinals Care has provided financial support for our program and the Cardinals broadcasters provide an incredible amount of publicity for our program.

In exchange for this support,  our Gamers players serve as camp counselors at Cardinals Kids Clinics during the summer.

The is a great opportunity for Gamers players to interact with former Cardinals players and to work with younger kids through the game of baseball.  Plus, it counts as community service hours -- which is important for a lot of our players.  It is challenging to play sports and log the community service hours that are required and look great on a college application.

We need 10 players per date to serve as camp counselors.

The camps run from 8am - 12:30 each day. The counselors are asked to arrive no later that 7:45am, wearing Gamers winter workout shirt, Gamers shorts and Gamers hat. You will probably be finished around noon.  The last 30 minutes are left for autographs.

The rainout number for the camps is  (314) 345-9892.  Call this number before leaving to go to the camp location.

ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK AT LEAST ONE DATE.  THIS IS PART OF OUR PROGRAM AND IS NOT OPTIONAL.

IF YOU CAN WORK TWO DATES, THAT WILL HELP OUT A LOT.

Click on the link below to fill out a form with your preferences on which days you would like to work.  Please check your family and team calendars to make sure you are available on the dates that you select.

Please complete this form by June 1st.  We will fill the spots based who signs up first.  If you want a convenient date or location, respond early!

We would like our Illinois players to work the camps in Fairview Heights,  Belleville and Highland  If you live in IL, please select those dates as your top choices.

11-12u Playersplease volunteer for the following dates which focus on 7-9 year olds campers:

June 12, 18, 25, 23 and 30th.

13u-14u players, please pick at least one THURSDAY camp that is close to where you live.  We need you to work Thursdays because our 15u-18u teams often play on Thursday mornings.

15u,16u and 17u players -- you will be excused from ONE Tuesday morning practice when you work the camps.   You cannot select a Thursday date because there is a good change you will be traveling or playing on Thursday mornings.  Please do not select the week you are in East Cobb.

If you have any questions, please contact me.  If not, please fill out the form select your preferred choice of dates and locations.

Thanks for you ongoing support of the Gamers program,
