Hi,
As we wind down the winter training for high school age Gamers, I wanted to re-state two very important points:
First, please wear your seatbelts while driving or riding in cars. This is more important than anything else in this email.
Second, the use of drugs and alcohol limit your potential as a baseball player and a young man. As such, it violates the principles of the Gamers program. We do not expect you to use alcohol or drugs or be surrounded with people who are using them.
Our policy is a minimum one month suspension if you violate this rule. No exceptions. We will not give up on you. We will try to help you. But, you will not wear the Gamers uniform for one month if you are involved with alcohol or drug use.
If you are in a situation where peers are drinking or using drugs, we expect you to leave immediately. No excuses here. We expect you to act and behave like a responsible young man.
Thanks again for being part of the Gamer program. We will follow you closely during the high school season and look forward to getting back together in May. We have an incredible baseball summer planned.
