Thought of the Week

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

-Thomas A. Edison

Recycling Update
A few months ago, we challenged residents to think more consciously about the items that are being thrown away. Our recycling numbers were down and our garbage collection numbers were up.

Bayside residents have responded by recycling in large quantities! Way to go! Our recycling numbers are now ahead of last year and we are on track to reach our goal of collecting 650 tons of recycling this year. Let's keep up the good work!

A Great Night!

Thanks to all the residents who came out and enjoyed the Chinooks baseball game last night! You helped support the Bayside Beautification fund and Doctor's Park Friends.

Residents with homes that have had landscaping restored are asked to water the newly planted grass to ensure proper growth.  Residents with private wells will also have to choose whether to abandon or keep their well. You can read about the options on the Village website

The contractor will begin underground boring on the Ravine Baye section beginning next Monday, July 15. Residents of the area should use caution when traveling as construction equipment will be on the roadway. Any questions related to work progress should be relayed to Alex Henderson (414-351-8812).
