Similar to the effort to bring municipal water to the southwest portion of the Village, resident Penny Goldman is working to bring municipal water to the central portion of the Village.
On Wednesday, June 26 from 6:00 - 8:00pm in the Bayside Middle School band room there will be an informational meeting for residents interested in connecting to municipal water. You can view a map online of the proposed project area which includes portions of Regent Rd., Regent Ct. Laramie Ln., Thrush Ln., Pelham Pkwy, Rexleigh Dr, Glencoe Pl, and Ellsworth Ln. Penny Goldman, representatives from City Water, LLC and Village staff will be on hand to discuss the progress to this point and update interested parties.
The meeting will cover several topics, including:
- Level of residential interest;
- Financing options;
- Next steps.
While the meeting will primarily discuss the Rexleigh Drive project, other residents are welcome to attend or to indicate their interest in connecting to the municipal water supply. All efforts to connect to municipal water are voluntary.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can still indicate your interest in municipal water by completing a quick online survey.
You can stay updated on any new developments on water in the Village through the Village's website. You can also track the current water construction progress on the map, with the green line indicating areas that have been completed.
