The Village collects many of your items for recycling at Village Hall such as electronics, light bulbs, batteries and cell phones. Through the Community Clean- Up Days (the next one is July 14) the Village collects many of your larger items and provides opportunities for you to donate items to GoodWill, Habitat for Humanity and other organizations. The one thing that the Village of Bayside does not currently collect at any event is household hazardous waste.
Household hazardous waste includes items such as varnish, antifreeze, household cleaners, paint thinner, and weed killer. The Village does not collect these items, but the Milwaukee Metropolitan District (MMSD) offers free collection for Milwaukee County residents.
