H2O Construction Update

Construction continued on the water project this week. Although some work was hampered by the rain, the crews are continuing up Mohawk Rd. and overall the project is on schedule.

Residents in the project area who are considering joining the project need to let the Village know as soon as possible. As construction continues it it is necessary to know which homes are receiving municipal water.

You can view the construction timeline and updates on the Village website.  If you have any questions, you may contact Howard Feiges at for more information.

Final Property Tax Installment Due

Just a reminder that the third and final property tax installment is due today, May 31. Residents can pay their bill at Village Hall, put the payment in the night deposit box, or place it in the mail as long as it's postmarked by the 31st.

Click It or Ticket

The annual Click It or Ticket seat belt campaign is underway. The Bayside Police Department, along with police departments across the country partnered with the National Highway Safety Association (NHTSA), are aggressively enforcing the seatbelt law.  NHTSA data showed that 52 percent of the 21,253 passengers killed in 2011 were not wearing safety belts.  As we begin the summer driving season law enforcement is highlighting this important safety reminder through June 2nd.

June Scene Now Available

The June edition of Bayside's monthly

newsletter, the  Village Scene, is now available on the Village website.

In this month's issue, you'll read about some grilling safety tips, learn about the members in our community that are serving on the committees in the Village and be reminded of our property maintenance inspections. As always, you'll find a list of community events, updated Bayside calendars, statistics, and more!

Tickets for the Lakeshore Chinooks Village of Bayside Night are still available. This year, the game is on Thursday, July 11 against the Eau Claire Express. Tickets are $15 and a Chinooks hat is included in your purchase.

Bayside Webpage of the Week

This week garbage and recycling collections were pushed back one day due to Memorial Day on Monday. Many of you contacted Village Hall to ask when collections would take place. We are happy to answer your questions, however all you need to due is go to the collections  web page. There are calendars for garbage and recycling as well as yard waste. You can print them out and hang them in your home or just access them online as needed.
