Last Call for Water

For those homes living in the southwest portion of the Village, you have just a few more days to participate in the voluntary municipal water connection project.  Due to statutory requirements, necessary publications and a public hearing process help dictate the next steps prior to financing.

For those in the area bounded by Fairy Chasm Road, to the north, Port Washington Road to the west, Brown Deer Road to the south, and Regent Road to the east (current project map); you can still sign up for the project and participate in the financing through noon on Friday, January 18.

While residents may be able to sign up to join the project prior to construction, they will not be able to participate in the 20

year financing being offered through B-Series bonds.

The Village Board will hold a public hearing on February 7, 2013 with regards to special assessing those homes who voluntarily choose to participate.

Howard Feigus has also had several other residents outside of the current project area contact him regarding the prospect of a voluntary connection to municipal water.  If interested, or those with questions about the financing and/or project, please contact Alex Henderson, or call 414-351-8813.

Tree & Wreath Collection - Final Pick Up

The holidays have come and gone - and that means holiday trees and wreaths have reached the end of their use.  Village crews will be collecting these items on Thursday and Friday of this week (this is the last time for this collection).

Residents are reminded to please remove any ribbon, decorations or metal from the items, as the collected material is chipped for reusable mulch.
