From the EastMichael Diaz, Worshipful MasterLet me begin by saying I hope that everyone had a wonderful vacation and time off on this Independence Day. The celebration of the freedoms of the country of which we reside. The country in which we took consideration to become a better part of the communities around us.

We as Mason's know that we hold close ties to the founding of this country, and what are these ties that we hold too? A spirit which does not back down in the times of struggle, nor cower in the face of adversity. To stand against what is wrong, immoral and unjust. To fight for those who are defenseless and let not the weak be oppressed. To hold too hope when it is still far off.  To seek a sense of independence within the camaraderie of our fellows. To know that we are the writers of our own destiny and that we will not allow others to dictate it for us. To know that even one from the humblest walks of life can become leader of the masses, bringing truth to the saying that "The last, shall be first".

What most know as their "Bill of rights", we know to be Masonic law, as we speak our minds on our beliefs and thoughts and not be persecuted for doing so and we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created  equal. For that is how Masons meet...on the Level.

Fraternally,

Brothers,

Ritual work at Pine Castle is in full force currently.  Last month we passed 4 Brothers to the degree of Fellowcraft. Congratulations to Brs. Gus Martinez, Vincent Martinez, Jose Acebal and Josh Michaels for taking another step on their Masonic Journey.

Also last month, the Past Masters of Pine Castle put on a Master Mason degree, both sections, for our newest Master Mason, Mike McMillan. Congrats to Br. McMillan and our Past Masters.

This month, on July 23rd, we will be having an EA Degree.  Degree will start at 7:00 pm as we will potentially be initiating 6 brothers that night.  As many of you know, this is not normally done as there is a stipulation that no more than 5 can be initiated at once. There is a prescribed method for doing more than five than conforms to Grand Lodge regulations. Come on out and see this unusual event and welcome our new brothers to the Fraternity.

Fraternally,

John Miles, Senior Warden
