To my Brothers of Pinecastle,
As we only have just two meetings left, and as the year comes to a close let us first give thanks for all and for who we have. Let us reflect on this past year and remember all that has happened. Let us remember the good that has taken place, the fun that we have had and with that let us smile towards the future.
We should embrace what is to come as good fortune and as the opportunity for new beginnings, and view it not as time to dwell on what has passed. As we move forward we shall come together as Brothers do, to fix what needs fixed, and what does not work shall be left behind. Hostilities and hardships are a thing of the past, so let compassion and fellowship be our new forefront, let the world fight itself, as we show it how brothers love one another. Remember what it is that we have labored so hard for, to pass a teaching from one generation to another, to be brave when others fear and to bind when others mean to tear. For all things eventually come full circle, the king passes the throne to the prince, the sun sets and sun rises and the student must become the teacher.
Finally I must give thanks to all the brothers of the lodge, from those who have been their for years and also to those newly raised. Though their are two I must single out. Worshipful Trey and J.W. Miles, for their excellent work and outstanding character they have helped me in more ways then i can thank and though they do not know it, they have inspired me. So to all the brothers of Pinecastle and to the sisters of the O.E.S. I send you love, greeting and above all Thanks.
