Trey Rapp, WM My Brothers,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday and you were able to spend some time with your families. The lodge rummage / craft fair was a success. I believe everyone that attended sold quite a bit and the lodge was presented with several nice donations.

December and the holiday season is here! Its great to see everyone in the holiday spirit. Our first meeting of the month is coming up on the 5th and it will be election night. Please make every attempt to make it to lodge that night so that you can help guide the lodge into the future. Our own Rainbow Girls will be preparing the dinner that evening as their way of saying thank you to the lodge for your support.

Today, Saturday the 1st, is the first annual Youth Holiday Party. This event is a thank you to all of the youth groups in our district and the adults that help with the day to day working of them. Please try and attend to show how much we support what they do! The party is from 6pm until 8pm at the Bahia Shrine in Maitland. Dress is church casual. no jeans please.

Bro. Andy Stewart is back in town and has taken a look at the area that needs to be covered by the smoker out back. He is working up some preliminary sketches and we will go over those and see what we can do. Once we get the design and materials worked out we can start getting prices for materials and labor. A huge thank you to Bro. Andy for taking the time and helping us with this. I'll keep you posted as we progress.

Our next meeting in December will be the 19th. We will be having a special dinner (see JW message) as well as a presentation to the 3 kids that entered the "Why I Love America" essay contest. We are planning on having the kids (and their parents) at the lodge that night for dinner followed by a presentation. I will send out more on this as the plans get finalized.

At some point this month or early next month we will be having an EA degree. We have new candidates that are anxious to get started. I will be in the East. Anyone interested in sitting in the degree please let me know.

In closing I would like to remind you that it's the season for giving. Lets all remember those less fortunate than ourselves by bringing a canned good or a non perishable food item to the lodge for the canned food drive. If you are feeling the True Christmas Spirit you can make a nice donation in the charity basket. I will also be bringing several holiday cards to the lodge for us all to sign and send to our military overseas and others that may need a little holiday cheer.

I look forward to seeing you all at the lodge and, as always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions please don't hesitate to let me know. You can reply to this email.

Junior Warden
Brethren,

The end of the year is fast approaching and soon the holidays will be upon us.  I would like to wish everyone a joyous holiday season and hope that you are able to spend time with your families and friends and that the new year will find you healthy and in good spirits.

I have truly enjoyed my year in the South and I hope that you have been able to come up for our dinners, breakfasts and events this year.  I would like to thank you all for the support you have shown me this year; it has made the job that much easier and that much more enjoyable.  Please extend the same level of support to our  incoming Jr. Warden, whoever that may be.  If you do, we will continue to build on the success that the Lodge has had in building a foundation from which Pine Castle Lodge will grow over the next several years.

For this month, the Rainbow Girls will be giving me a night off in the kitchen as they will be providing the dinner for the December 5th Stated Communication.  Come on up and show your support for these great young ladies who are a definite asset to our organization.  On December 19th, the last Stated Communication of the year, we will be having a bit of a holiday feast.  I have purchased 2 turkeys and will be making deep fried turkey with some casseroles and side dishes along with a tasty dessert.  Hope to see you there!

Fraternally,
