My Brothers,
Our first widows luncheon was great. It was not as well attended as I had hoped but the ladies had a good time and that's the important thing. It feels good to reach out to these ladies and let them know they are not forgotten and that we are here for them if they need us. Our next widow/past master event will be a "Coffee & Tea Social". There will be different tea's and finger foods as well as a variety of coffee's for the guys. It should be a fun, elegant afternoon sometime this spring. Watch your mailboxes and email for more information.
The Rainbow's Mystery Dinner was an evening of food, fun, music and of course mystery! The dinner was very well attended and everyone had fun. Best costume prize was awarded to W:. Jim Judovitz and his lovely wife. The Rainbow Girls actually waited on the tables in poodle skirts and filled the menu orders. They did a fantastic job. Your next opportunity to support the girls will be at the March BBQ where they will be washing cars.
I am putting together the plans for our next big "renovation" project at the lodge. We are going to update Pegram Hall. New paint, new fans, new flooring, repair and resurface the serving counter, etc. Pegram Hall is long overdue for some TLC and I would like to "warm it up". I am working on a rendering of the proposed changes and hope to have copies at our next meeting for your review. All you "handy men" that would like to help be ready.
And, as always, remember, you are a Mason because you asked to be. Take pride in your lodge! Take pride in your masonic affiliations, but most importantly, take pride in yourself! Masonry makes good men better. Be proud in the knowledge that you are a member of one of the oldest fraternities in the world! I hope to see you around the lodge soon.

Friends, brothers and ladies of the OES,
I'd like to start by saying thank you to all the Brothers and OES Sisters for all their support in these past few weeks. We did our duty this month, by showing our love to our departed brothers, by caring for their widows during the lunch, and to all those who came and supported, again, I say thank you.
A lot has been happening and a lot is sure to come. Though, I myself must say that it is good to see so many Brothers starting to chip-in and help, where help was needed. At times yes, it may seem difficult, frustrating and often discouraging. Yet, let us remember, that when all come together, not one man does everything. Our Caft did not begin with a single man but, by brothers who banded together. So let us continue what they started, Together.

Brothers,
The date of our first BBQ of the year is fast approaching. March 9th is prep day and March 10th is the BBQ. I appreciate all the brothers and their wives who have given me their support in preparation for the BBQ. Our work call from last month was postponed due to a funeral that came up last minute so we will be doing the log splitting starting at 8:00 am this Saturday, March 3rd and the floor in Pegram hall will be done when I get to the Lodge after Masters & Wardens. I will be providing lunch (sandwiches, chips, beverages) for those who come out to help.
For this BBQ, we will be adding to the menu. We are going
to have chips and fruit punch available to make the event more kid-friendly. We will also be adding a limited amount of Brisket to the menu as a trial run to see how well it turns out. If it is well received, it will be more widely available in the summer and fall.
We had another good turnout for breakfast in February. If you missed it, please come down to the lodge with your family on March 24th and join us.
Dinner for this month will be Lasagna for the meeting on March 7 and Meatloaf for the meeting on March 21. Many brothers have commented to me that the food is good and fellowship enjoyable so I encourage you all to come out for dinner and stay for the meetings. We would love to see you at the Lodge!
