My Brothers,

The Masters & Wardens meeting for this month has been moved to September 10th at the Shrine. This was voted on at the last Master & Wardens meeting. It is the same day as the District Picnic at the Shrine. This was done to get more brothers there. The picnic will have food, entertainment, a Bounce House for the kids and fellowship. The Picnic will start at 12:00 PM and run till about 3:00 PM.

On the 7th of September our Senior Warden will be in the East to get his feet wet and learn how to run a meeting.

The school of Instruction will be at Orlando 69 on the 14th of September.

On the 17th of September of there will be a Masonic Leadership Training at Sanford Lodge with a light breakfast at 8:00 AM and class starts at 9:00 AM. It is highly suggested that the Wardens attend because it's directed to you as well as any Mason. The book is $35.00 and you will receive updates when published. I attended this course and it is very good. Also "Open Books" will be that day at Winter Park from 9:00-3:00 PM.

We will have a stated meeting on the 21st and the Family Breakfast on the 24th of September. On the 28th of September the District school of Instruction will be at Orlando 69, come out and learn some Masonary.

I want to thank everyone that helped prepare, deliver and serve  the BBQ for the South Seminole Lodge cornerstone ceremony. I know South Seminole appreciated the effort and the brothers and families that attended enjoyed the food.

I also want to thank the brothers from Pinecastle that took the time to attended the ceremony. I know its difficult at times to attend the many masonic functions around the district. Every effort you make to attend what you can is appreciated.

And, as some of you may have noticed, the progress in the library is slow. It will always be a work in progress but I'm starting to get the final plans put together. Again, ANY donations you want to make to the library, as well as comments or suggestions will be welcome.
