Brothers,Worshipful master

We have several big things in May. Master & Wardens at Winter Park on the 7th, we are having an EA degree on the 11th, OES is having their Spring Fling on the 14th, Family Breakfast on the 28th and Grand Lodge on the 30th-June 1.

If we get the MM's to do their catechisms we will have a Bible and Apron presentation, this will include a dinner and open presentation.

For those who plan to attend Grand Lodge please let the Secretary know so he can provide them with a list. If you are an Officer and can't make it we will have to get a proxy for you so your proxy may vote for you, there are a lot of interesting issues on the Legislation. Another busy and productive month, oh by the way the "Gavel" is currently at home. Come see us.

Best Regards,
Randy White, Worshipful Master

Trey Rapp, Senior WardenBrothers,

I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you more information about the "paper retriever", which is the paper recycling bin in the parking lot.

The company that owns the bin, AbitibiBowater, is a global leader in the forest products industry, producing a diverse range of products, including newsprint, commercial printing papers, market pulp and wood products.

Since the bin was delivered, the lodge has recycled 5 tons of paper and has received a total of $25.00 from the program at no cost to the lodge(well, except one parking space or so). The info below shows the global impact of our recycling efforts.

Current Year to Date
1.99 tons recycled YTD
5.97 cubic yards of landfill saved YTD
8,162.98 KWH energy saved YTD

The bin gets emptied every other week. If it gets full, please let me know and I can request that it be emptied online. I will post more information on the lodge website and update it as the information changes.

Sincerely,
Trey Rapp, Senior Warden

Michael Diaz, Junior WardenMy Brothers,

I just want to remind everyone that for the first meeting of the month I will have "snacks" provided and at the second meeting I will be preparing a full "dinner". I will be preparing some traditional cuban meals in the months to come and would be pleased to share them with you.  Please come out and join in fellowship of your lodge. Meet some new brothers and get re-acquainted with the old ones.

Fraternally,
Michael Diaz, Junior Warden

Rainbow Assembly #6

My Brothers & Sisters,

We have recovered from the Shrine Circus. Seven girls and six adults worked for our Assembly.  We were all very tired but we had a great time.

We have another petition, this makes 2 so far this year. We will take her to Grand Assembly with us and she will be initiated there.

We will be washing cars at the next BBQ so bring your dirty car and have it washed while you enjoy a great BBQ.

There will be a parents meeting May 15 at the Lodge and we will be heading out to Grand Assembly June 24 at 6AM...ugh!!

If you have a daughter, granddaughter or niece who is 11 years old, consider asking her to check us out and join us.  We are an active, friendly Assembly and we are growing.

With Rainbow Love,
Mom Norma
