Brothers,
The installation of the exterior lighting system is now complete and the appearance and security of the lodge in the evening is tremendous. All of the equipment and labor was a gift to the lodge from two anonymous wayfaring brothers who just wanted to give back in recognition for what they received.
The next 25 years will be of paramount importance for our fraternity. If we are to survive at all it will be due to the work of the quiet masons who have no need of personal recognition, fancy titles, aprons and pictures on the walls. My thanks go out to you brothers who have quietly supported us this year either through donations or words of encouragement.
Our first meeting in October will likely be one of the most important of the year. Lodge dues will finally, after years of neglect, be addressed. For those brothers for whom an increase will cause hardship, we are working on alternatives to ease the transition. We do not want to loose anyone at this time, so stay in touch and let us know your thoughts and suggestions.
BBQ time is here again. It is a great time to stop by and catch up with the brothers. If you haven't been to lodge in a while, stop by and say hello. October 9th. !!! We are also having our 2nd. annual Halloween Night (details enclosed). Last years was such a well organized event...bring the kids to this years...it should be even bigger and better!
We are planing an EA degree on the 27th. of October. Bro.Trey Rapp will be in the east! Watch the calendar and look for my weekly e mails to keep up with the activities.
Thanks to those who support your blue lodge...and remember...stay put..stay put ..stay put!!!
Have a a great October and stay safe!
Best Regards,
