PineCastle Lodge #368 Digital TrestleBoard
December 2009
Worshipful Master Worshipful Master David Garavano
To the Pine Castle Lodge Brothers and Sisters of the OES.  As Worshipful Master of Pine Castle Lodge I want to thank you for the friendship and wonderful support you have bestowed upon me this past year. To all the Officers thanks for a job well done particularly the Brother Masons that stepped up throughout the year when asked or were given a task to perform. Each of you out did yourselves.

A group that I owe a great deal of respect and gratitude to is our OES. They were always there for me and the Lodge, you ladies are the greatest.

To My Mom and Daughter, you were always there for me, thank you so much for your support.

I am the proudest Worshipful Master to be associated with the most wonderful and friendliest Lodge in the District.

David Garavano, Worshipful Master
From the West
Senior Warden
I hope this message finds yourself and family renewed from the holidays. 2010 will prove to be an exciting year with fresh new faces in the officers' line, and on that note I want to thank all the Brothers for the vote of confidence by electing me to be Worshipful Master of this Great Lodge.

I hope to see many of the members at our Installation of Officers on the 16th of this month.  Come on out and see the first installation of this lodge in Scottish Style.  Brothers from Scotland will be coming over to perform the ceremony. I don't think it has ever been done in Florida.

You will not want to miss February's message, until then on behalf of the Officers of your Lodge, I send you the best of wishes for a wonderful New Year.

Gerry Rushton, Senior Warden
From the South
Junior Warden
This will be my last communication as your Junior Warden.  I want to thank everyone again who assisted in making my journey through the south.

The plan is to have a dinner on our first meeting in January prior to the meeting, so come on out and join us; you know the fellowship is great and the food just as enjoyable.

Hope every one had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a fun and prosperous new year.
Randy White, Junior Warden
Junior Warden
Note from the Junior Warden Elect:
Our first meeting in January (on the 6th) will be an all you can eat spaghetti dinner. The usual $5 "donation" is requested per person. Dinner for this meeting and all future meetings this year will be BEFORE the meeting at 6:30pm. See you there!
Respectfully,
Art Johnson, JW Elect

It becomes my sad duty to inform you that we have lost two more of our Brothers during the month of December, Brothers Henry Perela & Thomas E George have demitted to the Grand Lodge on high. We have lost 15 of our Brothers during the year of 2009 to death.

Hope every one had a fantastic Christmas and that our Chapter and all the members have a very healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

At our first meeting on January 4th we will be having our Grand and Past Grand night & are expecting a large turnout with some of our Grand Chapter Officers in the chairs. I hope we have a good showing of our membership. At the second meeting of the month on the 18th we will honor our hard working Officers and Committee members.

We have petitions out so hopefully we will be initiating some new members soon.  Remember that all Master Masons are invited, with their wives, to join our order.

Rainbow Assembly #6
Rainbow Assembly #6
Pine Castle Assembly will have a busy January.  We will be escorting the Brothers at Oviedo & Eola Lodge Installations.  We will also go back to Give Kids the World to undecorate the villa we decorated in December. We will attend Hope Assembly's Installation on January 3rd. Our January 17th meeting will be a planning meeting for our upcoming dance February 13th.

Our wreath project was a success & remember, we are still collecting items for the military. This will be an ongoing project so please bring any items to the Lodge & place in the box provided.
