Details Express -  Fabric Combinations
So many of you have told us it's hard to find quality shirting fabric that we decided to provide some of our favorites on the Islandersewing.com site.

On my last buying trip I bought 100% cotton shirting in mix and match fabrics with the Details Express pattern in mind. Here are just 3 of the combination we made up. Visit islandersewing.com/ to see them all. Oh, wait! All shirtings and the Details Express pattern are on sale at 25% off (see details below).
Achieve fabulous results as you create the best looking shirts ever!

What is shirting? Shirting is a type of fabric that is light weight with a smooth finish and often has no wrong side. Quality shirting is woven with yarn dyed fibers to create the pattern as opposed to fabric that is woven as solid a color and then printed. The woven stripe or plaid is deceptively easy to work with because you can count-on the stripe of good shirting to be the grainline. Natural fibers make the best shirting and I also like combinations such as linen/cotton blends. These fabrics breathe and are always comfortable to wear no matter the climate.
