The entire outfit was made using couture draping and sewing techniques. Pins were not used in the project as everything was basted before stitching. Five different red silks were used thoughout: chiffon, organza, charmeuse, crepe de chine plus a novelty silk for the fashion fabric in the coat. The first four silks were the same Pantone shade of red (18-1764).
