Kenneth King comes to us from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where he serves as the Couture Professor in the Fashion Design program. His workshop is all about copying ready-to-wear. We have all had that one wonderful garment that fits so well and looks so good we wish we had more. Kenneth is here to teach you how to reproduce that garment and fit all without harming or taking apart the original.

Jennifer Stern, a member of Association of Sewing and Design Professionals (ASDP) and Pattern Review instructor, is teaching the popular Jeans Fit Workshop. In this workshop you will create your own custom jeans pattern and muslin made specifically to fit YOU!

Robin Bolton, also a member of ASDP and a Certified Islander Sewing Systems Instructor is offering a workshop on the latest Islander Sewing Systems pattern, MotorCity Express. This workshop is all about express construction that includes zipper insertion, interlining with fusible interfacing and the slickest industry technique for bagging the lining without ANY hand stitching. You will pre-cut and prepare the jacket ahead of class time. In class you will make your jacket and we hope, wear it to the expo.
