Yes, I know there are dozens of tutorials, magazine articles, workshops and even patterns that claim to give the answers on how to get the perfect fitting pant. They pin, they pull, they readjust the grain line, and still you are left with an ill-fitting pant or maybe if you're lucky an OK fit. Why is that, do you have the hardest to fit body in the world? Not really.

The problem is not your body shape, its the pattern. If the pattern is not drafted to your unique body structure, you can pin and pull all day and into the night and it is still never going to be the best fit.
In the body silhouettes above each have the same waist and hip measurements. The red outline shows the specific crotch shape needed to accommodate the tummy, hips and unique body curves for the best and most comfortable fit.
When you draft your unique shape in a simple pant pattern (sloper), never again will you fear making pants. You can design your own patterns or you can easily use the sloper and lay it over any purchased pattern to see the quick and easy adjustments needed. Then, all that's left to do is sew it up with complete confidence, because this time you know it's going to FIT!!
