More About Sunshine 4 All

To support our friend Simon Haskins ASE is sponsoring an exhibit of Sunshine 4 All quilt blocks. You can send us your quilt block, bring it to the expo or you can even sit down and sew a block when you attend ASE this fall. Please read below and follow the link to learn more about this very special project to help find a cure for this  dreadful disease!
My name is Simon Haskins and I have been recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. This is a very rare blood cancer and has a very long and difficult road to recovery. As part of my journey I would like to try and do something to raise awareness and possibly money for The Leukaemaia Foundation to support those with this horrible disease and hopefully we will one day have a cure.

My idea is for the Jenny Haskins, quilting and machine embroidery communities to help me with this project by making an 8" x 8" quilt block that will be used in a quilt for this project. The response that I have had so far as been wonderful and thought a page devoted to the project would be a great way for people to be in contact, post pictures of their blocks and possibly learn more about this disease.
