Fashion you desire - Quality you deserve!
Greetings!

Below are the committee assignments for the public fashion show in Vegas, A Fashionable Afternoon. The show takes place in the Tropical Ballroom and begins at 2:00 pm (following the fitting with models that will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm). Remember you will want to set-up your table before 11:00 am. It's just a table not a consumer show booth. We only have the potential for 200 guests so use the KISS system.

Lyla suggests we all provide a "favorite" sewing tip to encourage consumer to visit our tables. This can be something you create especially for this event or you can attach it to your catalog or other literature.

II am sure I have forgotten some things. Send me any questions.
Thanks,
Janet

Contest Updates

Our second contest will work very much like the first with two important exceptions.
1. Deadline for entries is January 25, 2013.
2. Please, ask each of your finalists if they plan to be in Puyallup for the Sunday show. If so we will have them model their entry (only if they are one of your 3 finalists). Let Janet know as soon as you know how many finalists (3 only) and how many will model on Sunday.
3. Marsha has suggested that when we meet on Wednesday in Puyallup for fitting the models that we have a brief meeting to discuss Sunday's Contest reveal.
4. Sewing & Stitchery Expo: instead of waiting until we arrive in Las Vegas, our members will need to vote for the top winners of the People's Choice on Saturday after the expo so we can announce all winners on Sunday. We are doing this because the top winner will receive a free suite at the Rio during International Textile Expo and will need the time to plan her trip.
Voting Committee, perhaps you can suggest a plan that will work for everyone. I am not sure how long we could stay in the building on Saturday but I know it did not take long to score the entries. The committee will advise us later on how we can make this happen easily.

Puyallup Fashion Show

We are scheduled to produce our fashion show twice this year. Thursday and Saturday at  1:30. Castaway garments will be shown at these two events only, please do not display them before Sunday.
Each participating member will show 5 garments plus the castaway garment. You can plan to wear this garment or make it for a model.

Sunday Contest Reveal 1:30 PM
We hope to have contestant that attend in Puyallup model their garments. Please remember to ask your finalists if they plan to be in Puyallup on Sunday.
