|Help make this Holiday Season special for a child in need! Participate in A Precious Child's Precious Gift Program by sponsoring a child. You can do this by picking a tag off of the Flatiron's Crossing Giving Tree in their food court or contacting A Precious Child at 303-466-4272 and requesting a child to sponsor.
Starting November 25 (Black Friday), we are arranging A Precious Child volunteers to help collect donated toys at Flatiron's Giving Tree for impoverished children in the community. Last year, the Precious Gift program provided toys to over 3,600 children who would otherwise not have received a present on Christmas morning. We are hoping to help even more children this year!

Heroes of A Precious Child 2011 Luncheon
Our 1st Annual Heroes of A Precious Child luncheon was a wonderful success thanks to all of those who heroically braved the snow to make this our most significant fundraising event of the year! The Heroes of A Precious Child luncheon serves to carry the message of A Precious Child to new supporters, inform current supporters of A Precious Child's undertakings and accomplishments and raise critical funds which will help keep A Precious Child operating efficiently to bring life's most basic essentials to children and families impacted by poverty and misfortune.
Thank you to all of the table captains, their special guests and to the dignitaries who made it a priority to learn about A Precious Child and the pressing needs of underprivileged children and families in the community. A Precious Child thanks The Herd!
In the efforts to aid those who struggle with poverty, CU students organize the Nearly Naked Mile in which over 600 students run through campus (nearly naked) to collect clothing to help those in need throughout the community. This year, The Herd chose to donate the mountains of clothing which were shed throughout the race to A Precious Child! We value this wonderful new partnership and would like to sincerely thank all of those who participated in the Nearly Naked Mile for helping to clothe precious children in need!
CU students donated over 2,000 items of clothing, filling 29 yellow bins with their donations!
