Volunteer of the Month
Volunteer Anelle

A Precious Child is excited to honor Annelle Paschal as the volunteer of the month. Annelle worked as a Human Resource Manager at Ball Corporation for many years. After retiring, she wanted to 'give back' to her community by volunteering. A Broomfield resident, Annelle, found her way as a volunteer through an article from the Broomfield Enterprise. Ever since, she has contributed immensely to A Precious Child. Annelle says she likes volunteering at A Precious Child because she knows she is serving a "real purpose in society, helping people in need, especially children" and also when you volunteer "you always get back more than you give." A Precious Child is very grateful to have Annelle as a volunteer, her work ethic and contributions help make our organization a success. Thank you for your time and support for A Precious Child.

Broomfield Soccer Tournament

A big thanks to Mike King, Executive Director of the Broomfield Soccer Club, for giving A Precious Child a booth at the Broomfield Soccer Tournament to solicit donations and volunteers for A Precious Child.

We received buckets full of donated sports equipment through the participants at the tournament. A Precious Child is extremely grateful to the community for their outstanding support of our giveSPORTS program.

Pepsi Refresh
Pepsi Refresh
A Precious Child was one of a hundred nonprofit organizations chosen for a possible 25K Pepsi Refresh grant. A big thanks to everyone who supported giveSPORTS by voting everyday through Pepsi Refresh online and text message! We are grateful for your support!
Dear Supporters,

School has finally started and the kiddos are supplied with exciting new back-to-school clothes, backpacks, and supplies needed in order for them to be successful!  It has been a busy month at A Precious Child as clients have continually arrived to find new clothing for their children.

A big thank you to everyone for donating backpacks and school supplies.  We would not have been able to supply over 3,200 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need without your help! Also, thank you for all of the time and energy you put into A Precious Child; not only in-kind donations, but volunteer hours and monetary contributions! Please remember, your financial support is crucial to keeping our doors open for disadvantaged and displaced children.

Please, consider becoming a member of A Precious Donor's Club or simply make a one-time monetary donation.  You  may download

A Precious Donor's Form, fill it out and return it by fax 303-469-7555 or mail to 557 Burbank St. Unit E, Broomfield, CO 80020 or go to http://apreciouschild.org/store/home.php?cat=253.  Again, thank you for everything you do to help disadvantaged and displaced children in your community!

 Project Homeless

 Project Homeless

Project Homeless Connect strives to unite the homeless persons and families of Denver to various resources available in the community. It was such a privilege to partner with Nelson Ministries and distribute over 6,000 articles of clothing to children and families in the Denver Metro Area. We served dads and moms who were looking for jobs as well as kids who were looking for back to school clothing. As a whole, Project Homeless Connect was able to provide assistance for over 1,000 families.

Just Between Friends

  Just Between Friends

Just between friends (JBF) is an organization that buys or receives clothes and then sells it up to 50-80% off retail price to shoppers who have a tight budget. We are happy to announce that JBF graciously donated over 2000 items of clothing to A Precious Child!  Continuing to receive clothing donations is essential to help needy children and families. We are grateful for the donations from Just Between Friends, their support has benefited many displaced and disadvantaged children.
