Fall Donations Are Being Accepted

Cooler weather is upon us and A Precious Child is gearing up by collecting winter clothing for local children in need. Please donate your lightly used coats and sweaters and other articles of clothing to keep a child warm this winter. A Precious Child is in need of children's clothing but also accepts both casual adult clothing and professional adult attire to help parents get involved and succeed in the workforce.  Donations may be dropped off at A Precious Child located at 54 Garden Center in Broomfield. Please contact A Precious Child at 720-951-0525 to confirm drop-offs or to make special arrangements.
Christmas Is Right Around The Corner...
A Precious Child would like to make this Christmas special for local children in need. There are countless children who will not recieve anything for Christmas this year maybe because they are in foster care, between homes, or just because today's economic times make it impossibe for parents to afford anything other than the bare necessities. Our goal is to provide disadvantaged children with a new toy, a shirt, a pair of pants or dress and a pair of shoes for Christmas. This may not seem like much but this may be the only gifts these children will receive.
You can help! Donate a new toy, clothing, or make a financial contribution. For more information and ways to help contact A Precious Child at 720-951-0525 or email carinamartin@apreciouschild.org
Jefferson County Foster Care Association Thanks You!

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You so much for your heart for our children. Last school year we got a little kiddo around midnight that had come with no school supplies, no backpack, nothing but the clothes this child was wearing. I was surprised to learn that what was causing this child the most stress was not having the supplies for school the next day. Now we are able to relieve this stress and give them a backpack full of supplies. Oh how I wish you could see the proud smiles on their faces as they realize that someone they don't even know has gotten this new stuff just for them. The backpacks and school supplies are an enormous help to the children and their families. Knowing that we had your support with the school supplies lifted a big weight off of my shoulders and has allowed me to focus on other areas to help the foster children. On behalf of all the children who get these backpacks.
Thank You!!!
