Editorial

Next week will see the arrival of our members annual general meeting in Montral. This meeting stands as a bridge between 2015 and what actually took place, be it financial, practical or wished for. In the first part of the AGM we as members exercise our right to accept and comment on what has taken place in 2015. This is our recognition of the past. The second element of the AGM is our opportunity to approve the financial projections, aims and intentions for the year 2017. In 2016 we stand with one hand stretched lightly behind us touching, sensing and acknowledging what has taken place while with the other hand firmly reaching forward into the future with what we have learned and what inspires our future intentions and deeds.

Talking of future deeds and intentions creates a segue into the conference in August: Encountering Our Humanity. A dedicated group of volunteers is working hard to create a memorable week of encounter. Many members of the Executive Council from Dornach will be present creating a rare opportunity for the centre of anthroposophy to engage directly with us, the periphery. In this eNews you will find a list of the daily lectures under their themes. In the February and March editions were published the full list of artistic workshops. Alternatively or you could just go to the website (see link below) and find everything you need to know about the conference.

Warm greetings in this time of enlivening cosmic spring light.

Goetheanum World Conference
September 27th - October 1st.

How can we work so that the Anthroposophical Society becomes more and more a space for the development of the Human Being Becoming? A meeting place for recognizing and shaping destiny connections? She will best be able to fulfill her given task of being the bearer of the School of Spiritual Science through a constantly refreshed perception of the questions of our times. In order to achieve this our Society needs to undergo a transformation. This is the work we would like to undertake together.
