Greetings!
Salutations chaleureuses et Bonne Ann�e!
2016 promet d'�tre une ann�e riche en �v�nements importants pour la Soci�t� anthroposophique au Canada. Le nouveau site internet de la Soci�t� sera en ligne sous peu.
L'important congr�s nord-am�ricain � la rencontre de notre humanit� aura lieu � Ottawa au mois d'ao�t. On pourra y entendre un grand nombre de conf�renciers de marque, participer � d'excellents d'ateliers artistiques et �couter des pr�sentations de recherche (voir l'interview d'Arie van Ameringen paru dans le num�ro d'hiver d'Aper�us/eNews). Vous pouvez d�s maintenant visiter le site du congr�s pour voir toute la programmation et pour vous inscrire. Ne manquez pas cet �v�nement important! Un grand merci � Gary Burak qui a con�u l'admirable design du site et � Jean Balekian qui a cr�� le logo du congr�s.
Le d�pliant annon�ant le congr�s sera envoy� � tous les membres de la SAC vers la fin du mois de janvier. Ce d�pliant vous fournira tous les renseignements n�cessaires pour vous inscrire au congr�s par la poste.
Un �v�nement significatif qui a eu lieu au d�but de cette nouvelle ann�e, c'�tait le d�m�nagement de la biblioth�que de la Soci�t� de son local au sous-sol de Hesperus � une salle situ�e au deuxi�me �tage. Cet espace est moins grand, mais plus beau et tr�s �clair�. Une c�r�monie d'ouverture aura lieu le 5 f�vrier prochain, de 19 h � 20 h. Nous vous invitons cordialement � vous joindre � nous � Hesperus pour admirer les nouveaux locaux, partager une collation et participer � la conversation.
Un des r�sultats de ce d�m�nagement est qu'il nous reste une s�rie de volumes en doubles exemplaires pour lesquels nous n'avons pas de place dans ce nouveau local. Nous sommes pr�ts � offrir ces livres de Rudolf Steiner aux groupes et branches qui d�sireraient augmenter ou mettre sur pied leur propre biblioth�que locale.
Je tiens � ajouter que nous avons l'intention de favoriser le travail des groupes et des branches de toutes les mani�res possibles. Nous lancerons sous peu le site internet de la Soci�t� sur lequel il y aura un espace pour chaque groupe et chaque branche. Nous vous encourageons de nous faire savoir vos suggestions sur comment nous pouvons mieux travailler ensemble.

SECTION DES JEUNES EN AM�RIQUE DU NORD

AGAPE : Premier num�ro - Section des Jeunes en Am�rique du Nord
La Section des Jeunes en Am�rique du Nord (NAYS) offre un nouveau bulletin mensuel contenant beaucoup d'id�es innovatrices sur la notion de l'Amour dans son sens le plus noble : AGAPE, comme une affirmation pour l'action positive en 2016.
Nous sommes plusieurs collaborateurs ici � Chestnut Ridge, mais la plupart des participants vivent ailleurs dans le pays. Ce bulletin est le premier pas dans la r�alisation des r�solutions prises lors de notre r�cente rencontre tenue en m�me temps que AGA de la Soci�t� anthroposophique � St. Louis en octobre dernier.
Je con�ois ce geste du bulletin comme une affirmation de plusieurs principes fort simples : d'abord, que l'amour est un outil qui convient � toutes les situations; ensuite que l'amour est la source d'un comportement authentique; et finalement, que l'amour permet d'�tre r�ellement humain.

Report on Summer Week Eurthymy - Camphill Nottawasaga, Ontario 2015
The Summer Eurythmy Week August 7-14 2015, in Angus Ontario, was full of surprises! After driving past endless fields, hills, cows and forests, it was a miracle to arrive at tranquil "Camphill Nottawasaga!" My mouth dropped open when I saw the "Novalis Hall." What empowering architecture! The beauty, the wooden floors, the grand piano and the wonderful stage...waiting! My ideal eurythmy holiday was just beginning. The nicest surprise was the genuine welcome! Standing on my point of the seven-pointed star, I felt I belonged. Thank-you to all who shared their space with us, prepared our lovely meals, put us up, and applauded our performances. Gabrielle Schneider held the many practical, artistic and social strands together with her light touch. She led us through many basic exercises such as "I and You", "The Energy and Peace Dance", "The wishes of the Soul"...and we found them inwardly nourishing and formative. Full report

In Search of Self-Renewal - In the Canary Islands
March 30th - April 14th, 2016
Balancing the artistic practices of eurythmy and nature drawing, this retreat will focus on developing practical methods for self-renewal. With an overall emphasis on image, color, and gesture, both individual and group
work will be undertaken. The movement component will concentrate on the sounds of speech and the corresponding relationships to the planets and zodiac.
No previous experience with drawing or eurythmy is expected. Colored pencils or pastels, a sketchbook and comfortable clothing with soft-soled shoes will be required. Brochure

The Rhythms of Destiny: An Exploration of Biography with Phillip Thatcher
 Each of us charts a course through life that is radically individual, yet we are supported in our journeys by archetypal rhythms that are common to humanity. Through thematic presentations and conversation, this course will search out those rhythms and our relation to them. We will share life experiences through imaginative exercises and explore significant moments in the biographies of individuals who have affected our time. Throughout we will draw upon the insights of Rudolf Steiner into the unfolding of our destinies.
This course will run for nine evenings, beginning Thursday, January 14th, 2016 through March 3rd; March 17th.* We will meet at the Rudolf Steiner Centre, 3743 Delbrook Ave. (in the Delbrook Plaza), North Vancouver, from 7:30 pm to 9:00. The cost for the course will be $100.
* March 10th is the Festival of the Arts at the Vancouver Waldorf School.
